The Opening Ceremony at Lucidity Festival is a time for the elders to impart deep wisdom collected from their life’s journey that helps connect us with the sacred land and the divinity of the present moment. They share messages that prepare us to go forth about the festival - and our lives - with greater purpose and intention. Lucidity Festival receives an annual land blessing from the elders to move forth with the festival with respect for the home of the Chumash people. It’s an honor to be one of the few selected to document the sacred ceremony
