Community Journalism

During my time working for The Orange County Register and Time Out LA I not only photographed sports, but community events and SoCal happenings as well. The variety of assignments from one day to the next was always fascinating and (mostly) exciting. A community event in the morning, followed by a portrait of a firefighter, and a concert in the park to close the day, what fun! This is a collection of images made while wearing my press badge.
